Description: The Global Engagement panel session will report on the strategic direction of the American College of Surgeons in global and domestic volunteerism. Moreover, a panel discussion will address the issues of 1) Domestic Volunteerism: Why, How and where it is needed. 2) Global Engagement session will focus on building global surgery consortium. Experts will discuss the Why, the how and where consortia are needed. In addition, an open mic session will provide fellows to discuss the extraordinary volunteerism work they do around the globe and share their experiences.
