Description: Prostate cancer is the most common cancer in the U.S. and the second most common cause of cancer death. There remains a significant amount of controversy, uncertainty, and change in practice with regard to appropriate and evidence-based methods for prostate screening and detection methods. The course will seek to improve one's understanding of evidenced-based and selective use of emerging molecular and imaging techniques in prostate cancer screening and diagnosis, and will provide an update of Prostate Specific Antigen (PSA) screening guidelines for men.
