Description: Recent randomized controlled studies have provided data about better resuscitation techniques, selection of appropriate vasopressors, adjunctive treatments (e.g. steroids) in septic patients. The 2016 Update of the Surviving Sepsis Guidelines was just published in January 2017. Experts will be invited to review changes present in the new Sepsis guidelines and supplement with new data regarding optimal management of patients with sepsis and septic shock in 2017. Areas covered will include: a.Updates to the 2016 Surviving Sepsis Guidelines b.Vasopressors c.Fluids d.Steroids e.Antibiotics and f.Nutrition and other supportive care.
