Description: The Martin Memorial Lecture and the American Urological Association Lecture (AUA) have been combined for presentation during the Opening Ceremony of the Clinical Congress. The AUA Lecture has been sponsored by the AUA since 1967 and has featured diverse topics in surgery. The Martin Memorial Lecture was established in 1946 to honor Franklin H. Martin, MD, FACS, founder of the College and his wife, Isabelle Hollister Martin. The Martin Memorial Lecture is alternately nominated by the Advisory Council for Urological Surgery and the ACS Honors Committee.
