American College Of Surgeons - Inspiring Quality: Highest Standards, Better Outcomes

SESAP 17 Advanced Content

The inaugural edition of SESAP® 17 Advanced consists of five modules with 243 newly constructed, case-based, multiple-choice questions. The program was created using a rigorous, multistep process of question development and peer review by 21 expert practicing surgeons.

Critiques provide evidence-based explanations addressing all the answer choices, while exploring controversial and complex topics in depth and incorporating key references from the current literature.

Each module may be purchased separately to allow greater flexibility for tailoring a package to a specialty. Additional modules can be added any time based on learning and practice needs.

SESAP 17 Advanced modules have corresponding prerequisite categories in SESAP 17. For example, the surgical critical care category of SESAP 17 is required to purchase the surgical critical care module of SESAP 17 Advanced. The prerequisite SESAP 17 category or categories and corresponding SESAP 17 Advanced module may be completed in any order. Please note: Both the abdomen and alimentary tract categories of SESAP 17 are required to purchase the combined abdomen and alimentary tract module of SESAP 17 Advanced. Subscribers who purchase all 13 categories of SESAP 17 will fulfill all prerequisites for SESAP 17 Advanced.
