Who Should Attend?

Anyone with an interest in simulation-based surgical education, particularly prospective AEI members, are encouraged to attend. Directors, administrators, and staff from American College of Surgeons-Accredited Education Institutes (ACS-AEIs), as well as ACS-AEI site surveyors, reviewers, and committee members also typically attend this meeting. A special discount will be offered to medical students and residents who register.

In addition to providing a forum for networking, the objectives of the meeting are to present innovative research and educational activities from ACS-AEIs; to share best practices; to collaborate in curriculum development, faculty development, technology support, research and development, and administration; and to review the latest resources and technologies to support simulation-based surgical education.
