Honors Committee Seeks Nominations for Distinctions to Be Accorded in 2021

The American College of Surgeons (ACS) Board of Regents Honors Committee is soliciting nominations for Fellows to be awarded several distinctions at Clinical Congress 2021.

The ACS Board of Regents Honors Committee is soliciting nominations for Fellows and international surgeons to be awarded the following distinctions at Clinical Congress 2021: Honorary Fellowship; the Martin Memorial Lecture Presenter; the Distinguished Service Award; three nominees for the Sheen Award; the Jacobson Innovation Award; the Distinguished Lifetime Military Contribution Award; and the Lifetime Achievement Award. We ask the ACS Board of Regents and Officers to consider and submit names of candidates along with supporting documentation (two letters of support and a current curriculum vitae [CV] for the proposed nominee).

Nominations for these awards and honors are accepted year-round. Send nomination letters of support and the appropriate biographical information (current CV, bibliography, short biography, description and dates of innovation/achievement, and so on) to Donna Coulombe, Executive Services, ACS Staff Liaison to the Board of Regents Honors Committee.
