American College Of Surgeons - Inspiring Quality: Highest Standards, Better Outcomes

ACS Meetings Affected by COVID-19

ACS 2020 Cancer Accreditation Programs Conference Postponed

Because of the Coronavirus Disease 2019 (COVID-19) outbreak and its impact, the American College of Surgeons (ACS) is postponing the ACS 2020 Cancer Accreditation Programs Conference: New Content for a New Decade, originally scheduled for April 22–24, 2020. This difficult decision was made with an abundance of caution and with concern for your safety and the well-being of your patients, friends, and family. Ensuring the health and safety of our communities is our highest priority.

The conference will be rescheduled for later in the year or early 2021 at the same location: the Loews Chicago O’Hare Hotel in Rosemont, IL. Contact the hotel directly to cancel your stay. For your convenience, your April 2020 registration will be refunded via your original payment method.

Note that the Commission on Cancer/National Cancer Database program is still scheduled for August 28–29 in Denver, CO. We hope you can attend either the August conference or join us for another of the Cancer Programs’ important educational activities.

The College appreciates your flexibility and understanding of our commitment to the health and well-being of our program leaders, their patients, and our staff and apologizes for any inconvenience caused by this cancellation.
