COVID-19 Public Health Emergency Extended through End of October

U.S. Department of Health and Human Services Secretary Alex M. Azar II has extended for an additional 90 days the COVID-19 public health emergency, which was set to expire July 25. Many physicians expressed concern about the deadline and the implication for various regulatory waivers implemented because of the pandemic, including those pertaining to telemedicine.
