Credit to Address ACS Accreditation/Verification Requirements

Institutions that are accredited or verified by the American College of Surgeons may require staff to earn content specific credits in order to meet compliance and site survey requirements in applicable content areas:

Clinical Congress sessions that include this content are designated as Credit to Address ACS Accreditation/Verification Requirements. When claiming CME Credit for these sessions, individuals can elect to include the Credit to Address ACS Accreditation/ Verification Requirements, and it will be documented as part of one's CME Certificate and Clinical Congress transcript. Sessions designated as fulfilling Credit to Address Accreditation/Verification Requirements can be found in the 2019 Program Planner and with the online Find a Session search tool.

Individuals may meet these requirements with relevant AMA PRA Category 1 Credits™ awarded by any institution. It is the responsibility of the individual to verify that the content meets the specific requirement.
