Advance Press Registration Is Now Open

Members of the media who meet the criteria set by the American College of Surgeons (ACS) may apply for press credentials to cover the Clinical Congress.

The deadline to apply is September 28, 2018.

First Read the ACS Press Credentials Policy

ACS Clinical Congress 2018—one of the largest international meetings of surgeons in the world—will convene October 21–25, in Boston, MA.

The conference theme is “The Joy and Privilege of a Surgical Career.” The Boston Convention and Exhibition Center will house the scientific sessions, courses, and all scientific and technical exhibits. The Westin Boston Waterfront will serve as the headquarters hotel for the conference.

Additionally, more than 200 companies will display products or services that improve the quality of surgical patient care or enhance management practices within the surgical profession.

Press Registration

Please note that there are two categories of press: Press and Commercial Press.

The Commercial Press category has a fee, and the deadlines and fee schedule follow: 

  • Early Register on or before August 27: $855
  • Register from August 28 to October 20: $930
  • Onsite Registration: $1,025

Housing will be at a premium so we recommend that you secure hotel accommodations through OnPeak as far in advance as possible to take advantage of the Clinical Congress block of rooms that has been reserved at several Boston hotels.
