Leadership & Advocacy SummitThe eighth annual American College of Surgeons (ACS) Leadership & Advocacy Summit took place March 30–April 2 in Washington, DC.

A total of 293 surgical leaders from 47 states participated in 253 meetings on Capitol Hill Tuesday, April 2, during the American College of Surgeons (ACS) Leadership & Advocacy Summit. In these visits, ACS Fellows met with members of Congress and their staffs to help educate legislators on health care issues.
