SRGS Connect Resident

SRGS Connect Resident is an online approach to mastering the literature. It gives residents an in-depth, topic-specific review of the literature from the clinical perspective of a senior general surgeon. Link to more advantages of SRGS Connect Resident (170K PDF).

SRGS Connect Resident does not include select full-text articles. Some of the articles cited are freely available, and are noted as such, in the Recommended Reading section for each topic. This section includes full citations and most residents will have access to full text through their library.

A single program director or faculty designee can earn AMA PRA Category 1 credit for completing the CME tests that are part of each print issue of SRGS. Go to “CME Test Login” and enter your ACS username and password to gain entry to the test site.

*Member pricing applies if the program director is a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons (ACS) and if all resident subscribers are members of the Resident and Associate Society of the ACS (RAS-ACS). If these conditions do not apply, nonmember pricing is in effect. You can enroll your residents in RAS-ACS now to qualify for the discount. The application fee for RAS is waived for PGY-1 residents.  The Resident Membership Application Form can be found on the ACS Member Services page. After clicking on the application form link, you will be directed to a login page. You must create a user account to access the online application. Go to “Click here if you are a new user” to begin.
