About Selected Readings in General Surgery (SRGS)
Selected Readings in General Surgery (SRGS) offers surgical residents and practicing surgeons throughout the world a preselected series of articles reviewed and analyzed for value and relevance. Dedicated to ongoing learning, assessment, and improvement, SRGS meets requirements of the American Board of Surgery’s Maintenance of Certification program.
This publication looks at the entire field of general surgery, in a continuous cycle, by reviewing and analyzing up to 100 journal articles per issue, saving the reader precious time and minimizing laborious keyword searches. Each issue contains a comprehensive overview of the articles reviewed, a bibliography, up to 20 reprints from published literature, and a self-assessment quiz that enables you to earn AMA PRA Category 1 Credits™.
How to Order
One-year subscriptions are available in several formats: online, CD-ROM, and print.
Subscribe to Selected Readings in General Surgery online on our secured server or place your order by phone or mail. All orders must be prepaid. You must use your credit card (Visa, MasterCard or American Express) if you order online or by phone.

SPECIAL NOTE TO RESIDENTS: Discounted pricing is available to residents. You cannot order SRGS online if you are a resident in a surgical specialty program (accredited by the Accreditation Council for Graduate Medical Education). You must submit your order by fax or mail and include a letter from your program administrator proving your resident status.
