Socio-Economic Fact Center for Surgery
The American College of Surgeons Socio-Economic Fact Center for Surgery is an online resource that provides socio-economic and statistical information relevant to the field of surgery, and other associated health care topics. The Fact Center presents a collection of data on a variety of socioeconomic issues of interest to physicians, health care professionals, medical and health reporters, and anyone who wants to stay informed about today's rapidly changing health care environment. The information is compiled by the College's Advocacy and Health Policy Division from a variety of nationally recognized sources, who are attributed accordingly throughout this online reference guide.
