Practice Management for Residents and Young Surgeons Volume 1

Developed to meet the needs of residents and young surgeons, the American College of Surgeons, Division of Education presents the Practice Management Course for Residents and Young Surgeons. This CD-ROM uses an interactive / lecture format to help surgeons develop basic practice management skills. The volume 1 course is designed to educate and equip residents and young surgeons who have recently started practice with the knowledge to manage their personal surgical future with a focus on issues such as: how to select a career in private practices I and II by Charles D. Mabry, MD, FACS and Coding for Surgical Residents I and II by John T. Preskitt, MD, CCS-P, FACS.

ACCREDITATION
The American College of Surgeons is accredited by the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education (ACCME) to provide continuing medical education for physicians.

CME CREDIT
The American College of Surgeons designates the educational activity of CD-ROM # 1 for a maximum of 4.5 AMA PRA Category 1 Credits™. Physicians should only claim credit commensurate with the extent of their participation in the activity.

Developed to meet the needs of residents and young surgeons, the American College of Surgeons, Division of Education presents the Practice Management Course for Residents and Young Surgeons. This CD-ROM uses an interactive / lecture format to help surgeons develop basic practice management skills. The volume 2 course is designed to educate and equip residents and young surgeons who have recently started practice with the knowledge to manage their personal surgical future with a focus on issues such as: surgical financial management reports I by Frank G. Opelka, MD, FACS, surgical financial management reports II, organizing a surgical practice, and understanding insurance processing by Charles D. Mabry MD, FACS.
