Goals of the Committee on Allied Health Professionals:
- To comprehensively address the educational needs of allied health professionals as members of surgical teams
- To educate surgeons regarding the role of allied health professionals
- To support and assist allied health professionals involved in the surgical care
- To participate in defining duties of allied health professionals
- To assist with the process of accreditation of their respective educational programs
