From O’Hare: Located on the lower level of each terminal, taxis are available at all times. A ride from O’Hare to downtown takes approximately 30-45 minutes and costs between $40-$45, plus gratuity. Shared ride service is also available.
From Midway: Taxis at Chicago Midway Airport are available at all times, and are located outside of baggage claim. Chicago Midway Airport shared-ride vans are also available. A ride from Midway to downtown Chicago costs between $30-$35, plus gratuity and takes approximately 30-45 minutes.

Public Transportation
From O’Hare: Chicago Transit Authority (CTA) rapid transit between downtown and O’Hare is easy, quick (just 40 minutes), and costs only $2.25. The CTA station is located on the lowest level of the Main Parking Garage (next to elevator center 4) and is accessible by pedestrian tunnels located in Terminals 1, 2, and 3. From Terminal 5, take the Airport Transit System (ATS) to Terminal 3 and follow the signs.
From Midway: The CTA Orange Line connects Midway to downtown. Tickets can be purchased at the Midway Orange Line Station, which is conveniently accessible via a covered walkway through the Parking Garage at Midway Airport. The Orange Line makes stops throughout southwest Chicago and travels right into the loop. A large map is displayed at the station with all CTA lines and stops.

Metra Train McCormick Place to Downtown
Station Information: Randolph Street Station is located (below ground) on Michigan Avenue between South Water Street and Randolph Street. Street level access to the station is on Michigan Avenue, at the southwest corner at Randolph Street. Access is also through the Prudential Building, on Randolph Street. The South Water Street entrance to the Randolph Street Station is accessible through the Hyatt Regency Chicago Hotel.
Van Buren Street Station is located (below ground) on Michigan Avenue between Jackson and Van Buren Street. Street level access to the station is on Michigan Avenue at the northeast, northwest and southwest corners at Van Buren Street.
McCormick Place Station is located fifty feet west of the front of McCormick Place North, Level 1 (stairway access).

McCormick Place Parking Lot Information & Driving Directions
There are two main parking lots on the McCormick Place campus. Both are managed by Standard Parking and are in close proximity and walking distance to the convention complex. Events in the North, South, and West Buildings designate Lot A garage as the primary parking location. Lot A is a six level garage with 2,100 parking spaces and is located directly across from the Grand Concourse/Gate 4. Covered walkways from Lot A leading directly into McCormick Place and the Hyatt Regency McCormick Place Hotel also provide added convenience. The parking rate is currently $19. This is a flat fee regardless of the amount of time the vehicle is parked. Parking fees can be paid by cash or credit card; VISA, MasterCard and American Express are accepted. Parking lots are open throughout event hours. Overnight parking is not available.
Directions to Lot A (For Parking at North, South and West Buildings)
From O’Hare International Airport (22 Miles), Northwest Or The North:
Follow I-190 East to I-90 East. This turns into I-90/94 East (Dan Ryan Expressway). Keeping to the right, follow to I-55 North (Stevenson Expressway). Exit at Martin L. King Drive (Exit #293D) and follow signs to Lot A entrance ramp located immediately to your left.
From The West:
Take I-290 East (Eisenhower Expressway) to I-94 East (Dan Ryan Expressway). Keeping to the right, follow to I-55 North (Stevenson Expressway). Exit at Martin L. King Drive (Exit #293D) and follow signs to Lot A entrance ramp located immediately to your left.
From Midway Airport (10 Miles) Or Southwest:
Take I-55 North (Stevenson Expressway). Exit at Martin L. King Drive (Exit #293D) and follow signs to Lot A entrance ramp located immediately to your left.
From the South Or Indiana via I-80/94:
From I-80/94, exit at I-94 West (Bishop Ford Expressway) and proceed on I-94 West (Dan Ryan Expressway). Follow to I-55 North (Stevenson Expressway). Exit at Martin L. King Drive (Exit #293D) and follow signs to Lot A entrance ramp located immediately to your left.
From Indiana-Skyway:
Take I-90 West (Indiana Tollway turns into the Chicago Skyway). Merge onto I-90/94 West (Dan Ryan Expressway). Exit at I-55 North (Stevenson Expressway). Exit at Martin L. King Drive (Exit #293D) and follow signs to Lot A entrance ramp located immediately to your left.
From North Lake Shore Drive (US-41):
From Lake Shore Drive, exit at 31st Street and turn right (West). Turn right again on Martin L. King Drive. Turn left on 24th Place. Follow signs to Lot A.
From South Lake Shore Drive (US-41):
From Lake Shore Drive, exit at 31st Sreet. and turn left (West). Turn right on Martin L. King Drive. Turn left on 24th Place. Follow signs to Lot A.
From Congress Parkway:
From Congress Parkway, turn right onto Michigan Avenue Proceed south to Cermak Road. (E. 22nd Street). Turn left on Cermak Road, to Martin Luther King Drive. Follow signs to Lot A.
