George Pendergast, a managing director of Cambridge Associates, will discuss the fundamentals of investing, including asset allocation, diversification, and rebalancing. Surgeons need to plan early in their careers in order to build a solid financial future for their medical practices and themselves. The task sounds daunting; however, with a little fundamental knowledge and by following a few simple strategies, any surgeon can gain considerable investment savvy. The luncheon session on Sunday is beneficial for both members of the College and their spouses.
