The Committee for the Forum on Fundamental Surgical Problems has selected more than 225 abstracts to be presented at 20 Surgical Forum sessions, Monday through Wednesday. The program includes general surgery and the following specialities: cardiothoracic surgery, neurosurgery, orthopaedic surgery, pediatric surgery, plastic and maxillofacial surgery, urologic surgery, and vascular surgery. Other content areas include transplantation; quality, outcomes, and costs; and research in surgical education.
