The information on this page is provided by Telusys, Inc.

The Telusys Site Admnistration Program (TSAP) is used for the remote web-based control of online content on a Telusys web server. TSAP is not meant to be a replacement for FTP or other File Transfer Programs and utilities. Rather, the program is geared toward day-to-day file maintenance and security.

The following is a list of things the current implementation of TSAP can and can't do:

Can Do Remotely:

List Directories
Delete a File
Rename a File
Upload a File

Can't Do Remotely:

Create, Rename, or Delete Directories
Move Files
Copy Files
Save Files Back to Client Computer
Delete, Rename, and Upload Multiple Files Simultaneously

Many of the features from the "Can't Do" list are not available due to security reasons. TSAP is usually password protected, and does extensive checking of operations being performed to minimize the risk of someone using the program maliciously.

Here is a list of notes and hints regarding the program's intended usage:

TSAP Notes:

TSAP is not available from any Internet address, the program will only function from a web browser of a computer connected via a Telusys Dial-In server.

The program only accepts filenames with these extensions:

.html .htm .gif .jpg .jpeg .pdf

Only files with these extensions will list using the List Directory command:

.html .htm .gif .jpg .jpeg .pdf

File names can only be comprised of characters from the following list:

[A..Z] [a..z] [0..9] [.] [_] [-]

Filenames are case sensitive. All links in your HTML documents much match the filenames exactly

index.html is the "default" or "directory index" file in any particular directory

Existing index.html files should not be deleted or renamed

Contact Telusys if additional directories need to be created

There is a current 200k file size restriction when uploading an individual file. This can be increased if requested. As file systems have a finite size, this represents another security feature.

Contact Telusys if a directory or individual file is unmodifiable. This may be an indication that file access permissions need to be changed on the server end.

Restrict TSAP access to only one concurrent user for your files. File locking is not performed so requests are handled on a first-come-first-serve basis, possibly yielding unpredictable results in the case of multiple users. DO NOT WORK ON LIVE FILES IF POSSIBLE. We recommend testing your files online with a slightly different filename and then renaming them when they are correct. Contact Telusys before deleting any files whose function you are not certain about. If there are any errors or problems reported by the system record the date and time and contact Telusys.
