All Surgeons Day
by Peter E. Petrucci, MD, FACS
Vice-President and Program Committee Chair
On Saturday, February 27, 1999, the chapter will present its annual All Surgeons Day at the Conference Center at Georgetown University, Washington, DC.
All Surgeons Day 1999 is scheduled to begin at 7:00 a.m. with registration and continental breakfast. Because of the overwhelming success of the Spectacular Cases segment of the 1998 All Surgeons Day program, it is again being presented at the 1999 program. The program will also feature sessions related to critical care, laparoscopic procedures, perineal and anorectal problems, breast cancer management, and vascular surgery.
At the annual business meeting segment of our All Surgeons Day, the chapter will be presenting the Harry B. Zehner Traveling Fellowship Award, as well as other awards, to deserving physicians. The annual business
meeting will also include the appointment of the chapter's officers and councillors for 1999-2000. And last but
not least, the luncheon segment of the annual business meeting will feature a presentation by our guest speaker,
Mr. Mark Shields, critically acclaimed political analyst and author.
The chapter is looking forward to a highly successful and
rewarding 1999 All Surgeons Day program. With your
attendance, the success of the program is guaranteed.
