You can access the names of CoC-approved cancer programs in your area by choosing one or any combination of the following criteria:
- Search according to geographic location (city and state)
- Search according to hospital name
- Search according to cancer program category (30K PDF) (this field is optional)
You can view a list of all CoC-approved cancer programs by leaving the search criteria fields blank and clicking the "Start Search" button.
Search for CoC-approved cancer programs
- From the full search page, choose the search criteria you wish to use by entering the city, state, facility name, and/or the category of program.
- Select whether you would like to get a condensed listingone that contains only the name of the facility, the city, state, and category, along with a link through which you can get additional detailsor whether you would like to receive a detailed listing, which provides you with the facility name, contact and Web site information, and accreditation information.
- Once you have chosen the search criteria and the type of listings you would like, click the "Start Search" button in order to get your specified search results. You only need to hit the search button once. Depending on the number of facilities fitting your criteria, the results page could take several moments to load.
- If you find that you have changed your mind about the search information you have entered or selected, click on the "Reset this Form" button, to clear the information and re-enter your search criteria.
Search results
- Depending on the criteria you entered for your search, the records will be sorted either by state, city, or facility name.
- If you asked for a condensed listing, you can click on the "detail" link located to the left of the institution name in order to get the facility's contact, Web site, and accreditation information. If you asked for a detailed listing, a page containing the details about the program will be the result of your search.
- If you enter the facility name, along with a city and state, and receive a message indicating "No records matched your search criteria," you can try your search again by clicking on the "New Search" link located under the "Search Results" box near the top of the search results page. If you did not receive search results with your original request, consider entering only the city and state to get a list of CoC-approved cancer programs near you.
- Once you have located a CoC-approved cancer program near you, learn more about the resources and services the facility offers to patients, caregivers, and families, by visiting the American Cancer Society's CoC Hospital Locator.
