Course Overview
This presentation will discuss the revisions to lymphoma staging as presented in the AJCC Cancer Staging Manual, Sixth Edition. It will discuss the historic development of the staging system, guidelines for assigning the Stage Group of lymphoid neoplasms, and the use of the many suffixes in the staging system. Understanding these staging criteria are helpful when performing studies and analyzing data.

At the completion of this course, a viewer will:
- Understand the historic classification systems and the information on which they were based
- Recognize the difference between lymph node core regions and lymph node chains
- Understand the various suffixes available in the staging system and how to use them
