Course Overview

This presentation provides a review of the cancer program standards and requirements presented in Chapter 4 that were established to help CoC-approved cancer programs ensure comprehensive, high-quality clinical care.

Learning Objectives

At the completion of this course, a viewer will:

  • Know the basic structure of the Cancer Program Standards
  • Understand the required scope of clinical services required in a CoC-approved cancer program and how these clinical services demonstrate high-quality care
  • Be familiar with best practice methods that can be used within his/her own facility

Intended audience

This program is intended for physician and non-physician members of the cancer program team, including the cancer program administrator, cancer registrar, cancer committee chair, and cancer liaison physician.
