Course Overview

This presentation provides a review of the cancer program standards and requirements presented in Chapter 2 that were established to help CoC-approved cancer programs effectively organize and manage their leadership activities.

Learning Objectives

At the completion of this course, a viewer will:

Know the basic structure of the Cancer Program Standards
Understand the required organization and activities of the cancer committee, or other appropriate leadership body, within a CoC-approved cancer program
Be familiar with best practice methods that can be used within his/her own facility

Intended Audience

This program is intended for physician and non-physician members of the cancer program team, including the cancer program administrator, cancer registrar, cancer committee chair, and cancer liaison physician.
