Who uses CoC Datalinks?
Cancer registrars, cancer committee chairs, cancer liaison physicians, and cancer program administrators are the designated cancer program staff granted access at the time of the first CoC-accreditation survey.
- A facility may request to replace an original designated staff person in one of the roles listed above or request access for additional members of the cancer committee and/or medical staff, by submitting the CoC Datalinks User Request Form (345K PDF).
- Once an individual is granted access to use the system, a unique User ID and Password is assigned and e-mailed to that user. For security purposes and to protect facility data, User IDs and Passwords are not to be shared. The CoC is not responsible for the unauthorized release or sharing of login information and data by any CoC Datalinks user.
How is CoC Datalinks Accessed?
CoC Datalinks users at CoC-accredited cancer programs can access the Datalinks portal by clicking the link on the right-hand menu of the CoC homepage: www.facs.org/cancer.
- The user enters their unique User ID and Password. Upon first login the user will be prompted to change the temporary Password.
- CoC Datalinks users will use the same personal User ID and Password for all CoC Datalinks activities. For security purposes and to protect facility data, User IDs and Passwords are not to be shared. The CoC is not responsible for the unauthorized release or sharing of login information and data by any CoC Datalinks user.
- The CoC Datalinks Activity Menu selections may change based on updates made by the CoC and the access role the user is granted.
