The American College of Surgeons offers photographs, illustrations, text, audio and video tapes from its collections to staff and members for purposes of educational use. Copyright restrictions apply and are the responsibility of the requestor.

Upon written request, researchers who can make legitimate use of its resources, can have access to images and text from the ACS Archives.

Following are conditions and fees for reproduction and use.

Photocopying:

ACS staff will do all photocopying if condition of records allow.

Members:	no charge for 20 pages or less/larger amounts will incur charge
Non-members:	$1.00/page

Photographic Reproduction:

A variety of photo reproduction services can be made available and are provided for one-time use only. Copyright fees for film/TV rights apply.

Print from copy negative (8" x 10" or smaller, B&W):	$25.00
35mm slides (B&W):	$25.00
Digital Image:	$25.00

Video and Audio Tapes

Video Tapes	$35.00
Audio Tapes	$35.00

Members can borrow video and audio tapes at no charge as long as they are returned within a specified time agreed to by Archives staff and the patron. A credit card number must be obtained to cover cost for loss or damage.

Shipping and Handling:

Faxing fee:	$5.00	(Members, no charge)
Standard mail:	$1.00	(Members, no charge)
Heavier mail:	$2.50	or actual cost
International:	US$5.00	or actual cost

Additional charges will apply for "Rush" orders for both members and non-members.

Prepayment is requested for all orders over $20.00.
