How to Make a Gift

Making Your Gift to the Future of Surgery

Supporting the American College of Surgeons' research and education programs through financial contributions is one of the best ways to make a lasting mark on the profession. The Foundation offers many options for giving: individual gifts, membership in the Fellows Leadership Society, and a wide range of planned giving options. The size of your gift, of course, is your choice. The most important factor is your willingness to help ensure the future of surgery.

TYPES OF GIFTS

The Foundation welcomes gifts of stock. To accommodate Fellows making gifts of stock, an account has been established with Northern Trust in Chicago to receive contributed stock. We recommend that you consult your financial advisor, broker, or attorney to determine the best method to use when considering a contribution of stock. The following is the recommended procedure to follow once you have decided to make a gift of stock to the College:

Feel free to contact the ACS Foundation for additional information regarding the potential benefits of contributing stock.

To make a gift immediately or to find out more about the many options for giving, please contact the ACS Foundation by phone, 312-202-5338, or by email, acsfoundation@facs.org.

The ACS Foundation often receives donations in the form of a memorial or a tribute, and we are pleased to share with you the generosity of our donors who have provided such donations.
