Our commitment to the members and friends
of the American College of Surgeons
As the American College of Surgeons Foundation works to raise philanthropic dollars to further the mission of the American College of Surgeons, the Foundation is committed to collecting and dispersing donations in a manner befitting the College’s long tradition of philanthropy.
- We pledge that in all of our dealings with you, we will conduct ourselves with integrity, in a manner that positively and professionally reflects the standards and traditions of the American College of Surgeons.
- We will use your gifts exclusively for the purposes for which they are donated.
- We will promptly acknowledge your gifts and will provide accurate receipts for your tax records.
- We will respect the wishes of those of you who choose to remain anonymous and will handle your gifts with respect and confidentiality.
- We will answer your questions forthrightly and honestly.
- We will not share your contact information with other charitable organizations or with for-profit enterprises.
