Resources for ACS Chapters
Chapters of the American College of Surgeons are encouraged to help promote the College’s Inspiring Quality initiative by including its slogan and tagline with the ACS seal on their websites. Data gathered by the College through its various programs show that improving quality leads to fewer complications, better outcomes, and greater access for patients--and lowers costs.
The ACS Inspiring Quality initiative is intended to drive awareness of the critical elements needed in quality programs to offer the best chance of achieving those goals and helping to transform our health care system.
This Web page contains “Inspiring Quality” badges chapters can place on their websites or other electronic communications vehicles.
If placed on a chapter website, the badge can be image mapped to take users to the College’s “Inspiring Quality” information page: http://www.facs.org/quality/index.html.

2. Here’s how to copy a badge to your hard drive or portable USB device.
Windows PC:
Simply right click on the graphic and select "Save Image As..." or "Save Picture As..."
Apple Macintosh:
Control-click on the graphic and select "Save Image As..." or "Save Picture As..."
In addition, chapters that use templated Smart Sites (developed by Telusys, Inc.) can choose a new template design that already contains the Inspiring Quality graphic on the home page and second-level page designs. There is no fee assessed to current Smart Site users to transfer to an Inspiring Quality template. For assistance, contact Telusys representative Ms. Cherre Neitzka, cln@telusys.net.
