Robin Wright, President, Wright Communications, Inc., Evanston, IL In this interactive session, you will discover how to polish your presentation skills and present your messages with power. Topics include capturing audience interest, perfecting your delivery style and managing tough questions from hostile audiences. |
| 2:00–5:00 pm | Member Issues and Strategies (Concord Room, Ballroom Level) Chair: Dr. Paul Collicott, Director, ACS Division of Member Services This session is intended for all Chapter Officers. There will be an update and review of membership issues being addressed by the College. Also, Dr. Price will describe how the Utah Chapter was revitalized, and Dr. Maniscalco-Theberge will discuss how education programs for surgical residents helped to re-energize the Metropolitan Washington Chapter. Finally, the College's President, Dr. Organ, will review the theme for his presidential term—The Year of the Resident—and discuss how Chapters can support his vision. |
